The Story of "Keep On"
Some people knew that Hector was born with a heart condition, but many didn’t. That’s just the kind of person he was: strong, determined, and full of life. He never let his condition define him.
Throughout his childhood and early adulthood, Hector faced many health challenges. But there was one moment that stuck with him more than most. When he was thirteen years old, during an ambulance ride, a paramedic leaned in and said something simple but powerful: “No matter what happens, just Keep On.” That moment changed him. It gave him hope, courage, and direction. From then on, “Keep On” became Hector’s personal motto, so much so that he had it tattooed.
“Keep On” is subjective. It means whatever you need it to mean. For Hector, it meant showing up with heart, no matter the odds. For us now, it means continuing his legacy with strength and love.
We created this movement to honor Hector’s spirit and carry forward his message. All proceeds go toward supporting the very communities Hector knew, firsthand, what it meant to be a part of. Through this work, we hope to remind others that they’re not alone and to help them Keep On, just like Hector did.
